Rafael Correa Cancels Promises to Grow Ecuador's Economy and Prefers Cuban Style Poverty, Death, and Disaster while Aiding the FARC, Chavez and the Mafia
August 25, 2007 The Editors of ECRISIS commend Bob Novak for his column regarding the orchestrated efforts to paint Uribe's presidency as some horribly perverted militant regime when nothing could be further from the truth. Alvaro Uribe suffers from the outrageous paid propaganda pouring from crudely dishonest American legislators, paid actors of the do-drugs crowd generically spearheaded by the mischief funding George Soros, and the very ones who profiteer from instability in Latin America. Those who make money off of Colombia's misfortunes are not welcomed by Alvaro Uribe these days even though he has been forced to politically suck up to these elected and unelected propagandists and goofy leaders of the U.S. government and non-governmental actors who adore their do-drugs Soros monies. Uribe has more to fear from these American and Venezuelan-backed agents of disinformation, illicit political campaign activists, and American NGOs than he does from the FARC, which is routinely being routed.
Novak's column on Colombia is quite accurate, if not benign. He is more than polite. Read it here. Novak says that U.S. Senator Dodd has lately been in close contact with the Colombian Embassy in Washington. Dodd's team has been in close contact for years with the U.S. Embassy in Bogota. Novak is surely aware that Dodd, also known as Dodd's team, has been in contact there A LOT paralleling his staff's illicit micromanaging of every embassy of the USA in the Andes. This is neither new nor is this legitimate. It is a rump State Department based on cronyism, ridiculously incompetent behaviors, and ill conceived deceptions to deter progress and cause harm to progress. Recall too that Dodd's own team is crawling with co ordinated efforts to insert anti Plan Colombia actors in any way it can: through the back door, through the front door and in between. An example is the comical Plan Ecuador promoted by these agents of anarchy which while ludicrously dead on arrival for its sheer lack of common sense continues along like some badly polluted sewer water. Simply put: Dodd is in Soros's pocket, along with every other DNC candidate these days. All one need do is a simple check of positions and cash donations. Add to this phone logs and our evaluation is correct. If Dodd and his cronies are serious in any regard, let them first stand honestly to pass the Colombian-U.S. FTA this Fall instead of more fake delays and more excuses even as their cohorts play for time to further destabilize real progress. It is that simple.
It is long past time that the U.S. Democrats reveal their bought and paid for ties to the agents of destabilizing acts. It is important to analyze how much money and how many activists have teamed up and united with, to insert compromising and harmful untruths regarding all acts to stem narcoterror south of the Rio Grande River. We are confident that Dodd's own staff, themselves in close coordination with paid team members of the Soros administration so to speak, will never be happy until Hugo Chavez's pledge to `help the poor' destroys what few good men and women remain standing in the Andean region and follows Ecuador and Bolivia in to a hell on Earth of their own making as failed states littered by debauched governments, replaced by narcozones of their own making. It remains a living tragedy to observe the internal machinations to delete the principled behaviors exhibited by Alvaro Uribe, by U.S. agents of instability, propaganda, dishonesty, and pro-drugs actors- mostly funded through George Soros and his contractors inside US AID/State Department and the OAS.
We remind that Rafael Correa, currently holding the Ecuadorean presidential sash, has told us all that dealing or running drugs is just all right with him when one just "needs the money." And Ecuadoreans stupidly agree with him and not once- not once- demanded that he resign. Sympathy for the devil and lawless activity always gets nations in to trouble.
The U.S. Congress agreed in May, 2007 to legislatively approve the U.S. - Colombia FTA, which was signed in to a treaty last Fall. No sooner had the deal been cut than the U.S. democrats, themselves at approval ratings domestically on par with Jamil Mahaud, himself already in bed with Soros's own Jeffrey Sachs [ then serving as Mahaud's sole economic advisor] before he was flicked and sneezed out of office, announced that the deal was off and dispatched Congressman Charlie Rangel, fresh from rewarding Rafael Correa with a U.S. tax payer gift called an ATPDEA extension, on an August CODEL to Peru to try to convince the U.S. media that the U.S. democrats intend to play with a clean deck of cards, sometimes called being honest. What is not honest about this deal at all is that Colombia has done all that the USA could possibly ask it to do and more. Charlie Rangel had no instructions to relay the positive news stemming from Uribe's Colombia and prefers to make the best the enemy of the good. And for this, Senator Chris Dodd- and his team of Soros-backed pro drug activists- intend to micromanage Uribe in to a failing nation zone precisely as Bolivia, Venezuela and Ecuador. Senator Dodd, abusing his high office, has inserted his own hand maidens for the job in every Embassy of the United States in the Andes. The Soros-controlled U.S. Congress will never make progress toward any position of honorably conferring Congressional approval on to the Colombian FTA unless and until Colombians and Americans stand up for principled behaviors, shut down the pro drug running office equipment in all its forms, and collectively stand united for principled behaviors.
On August 25, Correa announced that he wants to cancel what amounts to about 1/2 of Ecuador's GNP- about half its jobs and national income- by never once again working with sane nations for progress and trade. Only two months have passed since Correa's regime vowed to the U.S. Senate, in a particularly poignant formal statement of promise to Senator Max Baucus that his government will uphold in perpetuity all treaties and obligations with the USA. Like the U.S. Democrats in bed with the pro drugs/pro `alternative democracy'/alternative law and order Soros, it seems that agreements and treaties and promises made are not worth the paper they are written on. For our part, we remind that lying to the U.S. government carries penalties. Problem is: this makes Correa out to be the liar that he is. The only reason that Correa has not already cancelled the USA's generous gift of free trade for the citizens of Ecuador is that Correa wants to pretend that he is a reasonable fellow, not scare his own voters nor overly alarm them before his coup de grace [ having already performed a self coup to purge any legitimate governmental leaders not inside his pockets, already deeply lined by Chavez and Soros]. The French wire service reports it all here.
What is anyone to make of Rafael Correa's broken promises and lies to U.S. Senator Max Baucus and where are Baucus and Rangel today on this morass?
More to the point: where stands every single Ecuadorean who should be frightened out of his and her collective wits that Correa, with no advise and consent outside of his Chavez and Soros minders, to watch all futures be denied all Ecuadoreans? Correa just cancelled their future livelihood, job potential and earning capacity and is mandating that their lives be as wretched as his cherished if deeply dishonest views on Cuba today. Correa is simply making good on his pledge to the dead in all but dishonest ways Fidel Castro to turn Ecuador in to a Cuban style gulag with Hugo Chavez helping him drain all of Ecuador's assets for self enrichment. Hugo Chavez owns Fidel Castro's island paradise of zombies. Just ask him. Chavez will tell you that he has poured billions and billions in to Cuba to prove his bona fides to his Russian-backed friends and to grow his Iranian pass through accounts. Chavez is not simply donating money to Raul Castro: he is aiding and abetting the build up of a global regime of debauched criminals, thugs, purveyors of total speech controls, and money launderers, sometimes called 21st Century Socialists or neo communists or our favorite, fiery progressives.
No amount of cabinet member shuffling and no amount of wishful thinking can un do or alter what is the precise make up of the Correa team and in no way changes their goals, which we add have never changed even as some matters have been slowed down. It is to all citizens to look closely at these acts and the actors and make their own decisions.
Ecuador's government cannot even bring itself to assist the dazed and confused Colombians who foolishly and stupidly thought that the pro FARC Rafael Correa and his merry band of fun loving Ecuadoreans would actually lift one finger to help them in their well co ordinated, as it turns out, so called refugee movements seeking assistance from Quito. Turns out that having lured these poor sods in to Ecuador, Correa's team now blames Uribe for their problems and demands more global funding for Correa's team while not lifting one finger to help at all. The United Nations is sending a team. Read it here at http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,294630,00.html
We can only hope that the Soros-backed CRISIS Group and the pro FARC teams are not co ordinating this tour. We can also hope that the UN will carry portable lie detector machines to check the veracity of these so called displaced who have mistakenly entered Ecuador where crime is four times worse than in Colombia and where standards of living are four times worse than in Colombia under Uribe. Why anyone would chose Ecuador over Colombia today is not just a mystery but a set up. This is akin to Canadians fleeing as refugees to Castro's Cuba for a better life style.
Moreover, this confused claim that it is the ELN- no wait- the FARC! by phony obersvers at the Northern Border smacks too much of the fake accusations that thousands are dying from swimming inside oil pools supposedly left behind by TEXACO in the 1970s which have long been under PetroEcuador's finely honed managemnt grid. In fact, this so called anti Plan Colombia effort by Ecuador is more reminiscent of Soros's own fake pro environmental efforts in Romania to help upend local mining in gold to force up the per ounce value of gold from his own gold mines. Read John Fund's exquisite review here, which also forgets to include precisely who and what seek to have and hold what remains of this globe's "extraction" industries and why competition is being shut down by these paid activists, sometimes called Soros-backed NGOs. In fact, a very useful independant film, MINE YOUR OWN BUSINESS points out that modernized, environmentally sound practices can be preferable to ages-old mining techniques and can, if properly managed, provide sutainable incomes. Mimicking Chavez's own propagandist ambassador Alvarez in demanding that even the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. forget about allowing speakers from Venezuela's youth movements to air their issues, the Soros teams have taken to protesting simple usage of the National Geographic's auditoreum for one more application of free and honest speech called a movie screening. Soros, it seems, plays a dirty game of hardball when he smells competition. Soros was successful in insuring his own preferred version of this tale last week on the badly compromised U.S. PBS TV, funded in part by U.S. tax dollars. For our part, we do not know what, if any, financial interests are held by Soros and his sons in Peru's gold mines, in particular Newmont's holdings, although Soros suspiciously handed Peru's Toledo a cool million several years' back, at the behest of Peter Romero and Madeline Albright.
We remind that Soros himself has repeatedly and adamantly stated that he has never in his life committed one single act of charity and that his entire acts of so called philanthropy are nothing but business development. What business Soros has to cause harm to U.S. and Colombian law enforcement officials and profit from so doing is a worthwhile review. What Soros is doing offshore and with whom or what he invests with is still yet another question which is only worth asking because the OAS president implausibly calls Soros a "statesman" and promotes Soros, thus inveighing transparency which has never existed in regards to that portfolio. Furthermore, why anyone would debase the U.S. military assistance for Latin nations in training and education also bears review.
What we do know is that Rafael Correa has just stiffed the people of Ecuador. What we do know is that all first and second tier nations and businesses will now have nothing to do with Ecuador because Ecuadoreans do not demand legitimacy and accountability, perferring to turn a lazy, blind eye to the fun loving cheesey hotel room high jinks, orgies and criminal rackets also called the Chavez and Correa team. Ecuadoreans think that they have a special way to game the global systems....by trickery and by deception, well learned as it is inside their flawed schools and family training centers of dysfunction. Gaming the system gets Ecuadoreans precisely where they deserve to be....holding the losing lottery ticket in life. Ecuadoreans can chose to invest in a winning plan for their own futures but this will never transpire as long as they remain addicted to manipulating the lottery game called life. What precisely John Negroponte will say about the deadly dishonest nation of Ecuador in his talk the first week of September before the conference hosted by the CAN/Corporacion Andina de Fomento. A quick review of the CAN's speaking teams shows a plethora of InterAmerican Dialogue/Soros-backed U.S. Congressmen and not one Republican speaker. We can only hope that when speaking about Ecuador, Negroponte has the wisdom to not rely on the aberrant Report on Ecuador from Soros's own Crisis Group. We are also still hoping that State Department paid not one penny for this factually dysfunctional report. Will Negroponte report the facts? We hold a small hope.
