More Financial Crimes Underway in Correa's Ecuador
January 10, 2009 Do you have any clue why president- aka dictator- Correa is hyperactively running Ecuador's finances in to the ground? Do you even comprehend what all this hyperactive and irresponsible mismanagement by Ecuador is all about? The answer is NO because no one does. Correa's team is so busily illegally manipulating everything they touch that it is impossible to understand what they are really doing. The problem here is also that all this running around and all this manipulating feels normal to Ecuadorians today so none stand up and demand that this dishonest hyperactivity- Much Ado About Nothing- cease and desist. It is very odd to us. If you do not know what Correa is doing with your money- and no one knows- then you must say NO! Stop this! until you honestly disclose the facts. There. That was simple enough. Do what adults all around the world do- insist in honest government instead of pretending that you can manipulate Correa's manipulations for your own benefit. You cannot and this does not work and leaves an entire nation looking like co addicts to an addiction that is way out of hand now.
Here is one snapshot on this turgid hyperactive Romper Room of 4th rate fake economists [also called policy idiots who have no clue how to manage finances and have no interest in honest reporting] running Ecuador:

Government Could Present Debt Restructuring Plan Soon
Finance Minister Viteri said that the government is analyzing all possible options to cope with the default of the Global 2012 and 2030 bonds and will present a debt-renegotiation proposal by January 14; which may include a proposal to buy back the bonds or overhaul the contractual terms.
Minister Viteri reiterated the government has enough funds to undertake a debt buyback of the defaulted debt as it could count with multilateral loans, domestic savings, and the financial support of friendly countries.
However, the government is still evaluating whether all global bonds deserve the same treatment or whether the government could give different treatment to each of the three outstanding global bonds. This suggests the government is still reviewing whether it will pay the coupon on the 2015s before the expiration of the 30-day grace period on January 15.

And here is some straight reporting that you will never, ever get from the Hugo Chavez-Rafael Correa co owned state propaganda mill, also called your tax dollars hard at work for dishonest media- which Venezuelans and Ecuadoreans apparently think is a good expenditure- more manipulative news all day/every day....but we approve of this notice:
Ecuador Suddenly Wants To Talk To Colombia (Semana)
Fri Jan 09 18:12:41 UTC 2009
Of course, its conditions are for Colombia to say that the drug and FARC problem 'is exclusively a Colombian issue' and pay no attention to those FARC camps on the Ecuador side or those payoffs to Ecuadorean government officials. The official saying that, Gustavo Larrea, of course, was found in the FARC computer red-handedly taking terrorist payoffs. But all the same, it's interesting that Ecuador wants to play ball with Colombia after cutting off all diplomatic relations. Since defaulting on its debt, the Ecuadoreans have put themselves up a creek. They also chased out all foreign investment. Nobody, not even Hugo Chavez, is rescuing them. They may well want money from Colombia because they can't get it from anywhere else. Let's hope Colombia says no.
For our part, we commend SEMANA in Colombia for its coverage of the FARC issues as it reports, “Ecuador is willing to talk with Colombia
January 9, 2009
Gustavo Larrea, Ecuador’s Security Minister, said his country is willing to resume conversations with Colombia as long as there is respect.
Ecuador broke all diplomatic relations with its neighbor country on March 2008 after the Colombian Army entered their territory to attack a FARC base.
Larrea says the dialogue will take place if the Colombian government accepts that the drug and FARC problem is exclusively a Colombian issue."
You will also never, ever get this straight talk from the U.S. Department of State and their foolish and dishonest apologists for the Correa dictatorship in crime. Nothing useful or relevant comes from that crime-enabling team, busily waiting and waiting for Queen of Mean Hillary to bless their mess....with more money and no cost-benefit analysis on their mismanaged malfeasance. No doubt also waiting for Soros's own hand picked new head of US AID to bestow even more malfeasance to defraud the US taxpayer in Quito. We do not commend nor approve the utterly devoid of facts pro-FARC protection Analysis of Ecuador from George- `I like drug legalization and I own the U.S. Democratic Party'- Soros's own EURASIA and Crisis Group Reports on Ecuador, also called winning derivatives clients and bond market machinations efforts, also called the U.S. Democratic Party Plan to enable more financial crimes for narcotraffickers in the Andes. Nor can we possibly comprehend anything attractive about the government of Ecuador demanding that Colombia abandon its principled position and the facts in order to assuage and enable the adolescent manipulative mindset of Ecuadoreans which do now insist that one and all play by their childish rules or not at all. Ecuadoreans do this because it is how they are trained in their homes and now they get away with it because no one stands up like an adult any more in this Romper Room of adolescents in Correa's kindergarten cartel for criminals.
In fact, we know that Gustavo Larrea, the darling of the pro FARC set in Washington, DC and himself a very dirty guy- well trained by Cuban and Venezuelan DISIP agents and currently ready and willing to lie about anything, is no one to trifle with- he will set his agents upon you. But Larrea demands respect for his criminal adventurism with Correa and the FARC. The U.S. Department of State thinks that these drug king pins- Larrea and Correa are worthy of lots of U.S. support, both financial and political and continue to shelter these drug king pins instead of putting them on the INTERPOL restraint list as the drug king pins they are. Why is that- do you wonder? And why do no Ecuadoreans petition for relief from the drug cartel captains of economic ruin?
With no transparency, no accountability and no freedoms in your daily life in Quito, you are essentially self imprisoned in your own Romper Room of dishonesty.
You can do something about this- you can insist on Adults Only government to turn around Ecuador's addiction to dishonesty and manipulative living. There is no money--Ecuador is broke, however much Ministra Viteri - with all the fiscal gravitas of a Sumo wrestler and the cult adoration of the mentally afflicted- says she has money to buy back/jigger GOE bonds. Viteri believes she will be gifted a new almost $5 billion money package to jigger/falsify/manipulate more global bonds, also called taking IDB and CAF money to build more derivatives and bond market quick change for Correa, Chavez and possibly Barclays. While Ecuador's budgets are said to be bankrupt, these addicts to market manipulation are back at it to play the manipulative game and the so called "friends of Ecuadorean finance" - what illegal Russo-Iranian traders they are- seem to be interested in more financial crimes. Stand up for honest government or else figure out that soon enough there will be no sympathy- no sympathy at all- for the Ecuadorean self destruction plan, also called Plan Ecuador, based on crime partnering and funny money.
Here is la Ministra today in HOY expressing her wisdom, also called covering up Correa's cartel crimes for Ecuador's self destruction:
Gobierno no decide qué hacer con los bonos Global
Publicado el 10/Enero/2009 | 00:04
La ministra de Finanzas, María Elsa Viteri, anunció ayer que el Gobierno analiza la focalización del subsidio del gas de uso doméstico, para lo que está en marcha una encuesta socioeconómica nacional.
The only Auto da Fe on your horizon is the self emulation of your honor and respect for refusing to add back one iota of integrity to your life. This is a huge problem for Ecuador and can easily be resolved. You can enter Uribe's training program for addicts to manipulative living and discover how to act like an adult. We are confident that Uribe would assist in co-training Ecuadoreans in this vital work. There can be no diplomacy and no trade and no commerce with the dishonest Ecuadorean cartel these days. As for Gustavo Larrea demanding that Uribe lie about Ecuador before he will be his friend- a common behavioral practice performed by all Ecuadoreans these days to only manipulate all around them- we know that Uribe is adult enough to know that friends that demand childish manipulative behaviors are no friends at all and are unworthy of any affection, unworthy of the time of day. We do hope that the Carter Center, abusing US tax dollars even as we write this, stops pressuring Colombia to pretend that Correa's team is not in play with the FARC and the Russo-Iranian empire. In fact, the Carter Center in Quito needs to be shut down and take their Allende-Che-Chavez cult worshipping employees with them. Better yet, join Larrea in the confessional for crimes against the state and for dishonest performance.
A superb follow up to Gustavo Larrea's dishonesty is here.
We ask: why is this now dead man laughing? The answer: he is living on a multi hectare plantation for many years in Ecuador, protected by his payments to Correa and surrounded by hundreds of banned land mines for his FARC money making operations:
SEMANA/Judicial The FARC, Colombia's main guerrilla group, has a presence in nearly 30 countries around the world. In this new installment, SEMANA magazine presents the links between the rebel group and countries in South America, Central America and North America. These revelations were found in the computer of "Raúl Reyes".
January 6, 2009
During the Second World War, when the Allies found the so-called Enigma machine, which was the key apparatus for secret communications for the Germans, the balance tipped in their favor. Today, nine months following the find of the computer of “Raúl Reyes,” a similar comparison could be made about the importance of this apparatus for the Colombian government in its war against the FARC. Inside the computer were guerrilla secrets spanning four decades.
SEMANA reports on Venezuela and Ecuador:
" Venezuela
One of the most revealing revelations of the Reyes archives was the support in money and in arms as well as political support that for years sectors of the government of President Hugo Chávez have offered the FARC. Similarly, it was revealed that men very close to Chávez gave assistance to the guerrillas. The director of military intelligence and the one from the DISIP (political branch of the police) were among them. They were in charge of strengthening relations with the FARC inside and outside of Venezuela. The presence of guerrilla camps in Venezuela was also confirmed.
Ecuador
Another of the most surprising secrets that the computer brought to light is the “non-aggression pacts” between the FARC and the Ecuadorian government. That is at least how one of the guerrilla heads described it in an email summing up a meeting with an Ecuadorian minister. The Ecuadorian government has denied it. FARC financial support for political campaigns in Ecuador was also revealed, as were arms sales- especially explosives - to the guerrillas. Ecuadorian territory served as a refuge for guerrillas like “Simón Trinidad” and their families, and FARC “political activities” were also allowed. "
SEMANA does not lie. We hope all Ecuadoreans will stop lying to themselves that Correa is not a drug king pin and get on with it.
And here is Ecuador's Minister of Defense embarrassing himself some more:
Foto: AFP PHOTO/Rodrigo Buendia
We ask again: why does the U.S. Embassy in Quito revere these drug king pins in Ecuador? Why do they waste so much time enabling them and covering their crimes over? Are they also, like Correa's own cabinet, devoid of adult truth tellers? What happened?
